Just a quick post today to remind you that its Craft Festival this weekend. You can find me in marquee C stand 38. I’ll be showing automata, metalwork and my new combination of lino print with metal details. If you can’t make it (not everyone is within easy reach of Bovey Tracey!) then watch this space and keep your eye on Instagram (@esthersmithartist) for future updates.

I will be accompanying an exhibition entitled 'The Marvellous Mechanical Museum' at Compton Verney, June 30 - September 30th.

I’m so delighted to have a piece of work in this stunning exhibition of automata in Falmouth Art Gallery - possibly the home of automata. The exhibition includes the work of Paul Spooner, Carlos Zapata, Keith Newstead, Fi Henshall, Peter Markey and many other fabulous automata makers whose work inspired me to take up the craft!

If you’re in Devon this autumn don’t miss the chance to pop in to Hybrid in Honiton. You’ll find my automata in their Autumn exhibition alongside a beautifully curated selection of artworks.
